| saw one for the first time yesterday. seems to be very good reel for the price. has anyone tried one yet and if so, what do you think. I have always used 6500s but really liked the smoothness of this reel. |

| the one I looked at retailed for 79.99. I live about 50 miles from cave run lake in ky. and must of the guys around here use the 6500s, but this reel was as about as smooth a reel as I have ever picked up. |

Location: Lake St. Clair | Kevin, the Cardiff is still being produced this year. They are replacing a reel it too started with a "C" it retailed for about $90 last year. The Corvalus looks and feels good. Look forward to hooking some fish with this one and putting it to work. |
