Location: Lake St. Clair | I hand held radi will get up to 5-7 miles max. Depending on the radio yo buy and the antenna you can hope to get close to 25 miles across flat land. Sometimes you can't talk with the boat beside you but communicate clearly with a boat the is more than 10 miles away.
Airwaves are different each and every day. Good luck with your choice. |
