| Looking for emu and tucan feathers and maybe crow feathers.
Are there some bulk retailers that handle this stuff and monkey fur?Thanks |

I'm not sure where you live, but here in southern ontario there are many emu farms, where the birds are raised just like chickens. You might see if there's an emu farm in your area. As for the tucan feathers, try a pet store or perhaps an exotic pets dealer. I can't imagine there's much call for either set of feathers, but one never knows.

| I don't know about emu and tucan feathers, but I would try fly-tying shops or catalogs. They have all kinds of different materials. I don't know where you're from so I can't recommend any shops, but try Kaufmans Streamborn a catalog. They have a very good selection. |

| Tucan feathers are gonna be quite hard to get. But what I would do, is purchase a copy of birdtalk magazine which specializes in exotic birds: http://www.animalnetwork.com/birds/
Go through the classifieds (which are the individual parrot dealers) And see which dealer raises tucans. E-mail or call them and ask them if they would send you feathers. I doubt you can get them in bulk though. If you can't find a copy of birdtalk, e-mail me at [email protected] and I will get you a copy. |
