Posts: 2024 | Not sure what you mean by "rate" them. I use short taps and really try to snap the slack out of the line. It's a no-brainer kind of bait. Just use short taps and she'll start doin her thing. Throw in a couple pauses once and a while, too.

Posts: 1887 Location: syracuse indiana | i second that. it is a awsome bait i love iti have a ton of them. u can really make them dance and dont forget the pauses. they have great roll and good belly flash. there are so many ways u can use them. jerk snap apuse and even throw a upward snap in there tooalways helps....bill

Great glide baits, all sizes, that you can get to dance a number of ways with short twitches, taps, or violent crazy jerks!

phantoms are THE glider i choose, very versatile and built solid! both sizes work well, while having somewhat different actions. you'll like 'em! steve

Posts: 532 Location: Chicago, IL | I love them, actually the 6" or smaller version is always my go to bait on the Fox Chain. It always at least shows me fish on tough days and my hook-up to boating percentages are by far one of the better for me. Definately a no brainer bait and with some nice upward twitches is deadly over shallow weeds. Definately a bait worth stocking up on.

Posts: 1310 Location: Washington, PA | I also love them. Brainless baits, which work well for me. Also the difference between the phantom and most other gliders is they sink a bit quicker, making them a go to bait for me fishing in current.

Posts: 724 Location: Southern W.Va. | One of the easiest jerkbaits to work that I know of. Great belly roll and real good hang time on the pause. Add it up and it means "Fish On!" Just my $.02 worth Mauser

Posts: 332 Location: Neenah, WI | Phantoms are Very easy to use and very versitile. I would rate them a 8 behind H2O's x-Glides and Nitros, these 2named baits would be 10 and 9 as far as ratings go. Hook'em Hard, SAINT1
