It's too cold to paint yet, but I can still get ready to repaint lures by getting them repaired now.
Some are easy, and others go into the hopess file. I've received lures that had chunks of clearcoat and paint missing, and the guy continued to use it, causing the wood to swell and crack the clearcoat while the wood rotted as it dried.
I'm not a miracle worker, but if you have lures that you want stripped and repainted, please e-mail me and we can discuss what needs to be done.
I can get to work stripping and repairing them while I wait for it to warm up for painting.
e-mail me at [email protected], and I'll see if I can help you out.
Thanks,
Beaver

I think Beav was talking about me. I have an 8" phantom that a small patch of paint got worn away. It still has good action, so I'm getting it repainted and see how it works. It didn't look like the wood rotted, but I never looked that close.

Slamr, yours isn't hopeless.
K-bob, that would have been an easy redo, but I couldn't copy the color.
GMG, send them and let me know what you want done. Be specific, because the more specific you are, the better idea I have of what you want.
If you want to "leave it to Beaver", fine. I'd never paint a lure that I wouldn't use myself.
