Location: Washington, PA | I and many other have great success in the spring with rat'l traps on muddy reservoirs. Just curious if everyone would think they may work in clear water? Anyone tried it? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I've used them on Rainy in very clear water for big pike and smallmouth with excellent success. Pelican has given up a Trap Muskie or two to me in the early spring when things there are very clear as well. SO has Crescent, so I guess from my experience the answer is use them anytime! |

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | I have used them on Tippy, Webster, The Barbee Chain here in Indiana. Our water is clear to 3 feet of visibility.
I have used them on Kentuck in Wisconsin, clear water.
It's the sound...... Clear, muddy, stained, etc......
Use it and it will work. |
