I am planning my first trip to Ontario for Muskies this summer. We are looking to go in late July and are just looking for a place to tent. Are there any resorts that offer tent sites on either the Sabasong bay of Lake of the woods or the Indain chain of lakes? Any help would go a long ways.

Red Wing Lodge has some tenting sites on Sabaskong.

If having your boat in/on the water isn't an issue you can you can also tent cheap at Lakeview Lodge. The lodge is actually on Crow Lake but you just hop across the street and go down a dirt road for a couple miles and you can put in at their private landing on Sabaskong. (landing is back in Steven's Bay near Young's camp)

I think you can tent at the park on Blue Lake if you are are going to the Indian Chain.

Have fun.

Any thoughts or ideas on which place is better Red Wing Lodge or Lake view? I'm not that intrested in fishing Crow. Is there any real difference fishing wise between Sabasong or Stevens bay? Are both fairly well protected from the wind?
