Im looking for software program for my GPS ( Lowrance Globle Map 3000 MT ) That will show me lakes contours On my computer And will let me plot trails and move them around . And add wayward points and be able to move them and around . I have Navtionics Chips But you can’t use them on the computer. And I have Mapcrate 6 But that does not show lake contours .
Thank you
Nick

I use Fugawi. It allows yuo to do what you're asking and more. I use an old laptop in my boat as my GPS doesn't have the navioncs capabilities. You can mark waypoints and, tracks, routes and tons of other things while you're in the boat too. You can also upload files to a palm pilot or pocket pc instead of a laptop. I have tons of charts (Trent Severn, Georgian Bay, Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and more) but alas no LOTW or inland U.S. lakes.

Try visiting http://www.fugawi.com to see if it's what you need. THere are other programs too, like quo vadis, ozi explorer and others, but fugawi is what I use.

PM me if you have questions.

Just got this info in an e-mail and thought I'd pass it along. The price seems good anyway.
