| "Tyger"= coated wire leader material (www.tygerleader.com) lookin' for anyone that has used this. Will the company's website knots hold up to musky? Thanks Boys |

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I used the tyger material last year on my sucker rigs. It held up fine, I will be using it again next year.
As for the knot. I always tie a palomar knot, but for some unknown reason last year one day I tried there "tyger" knot. DO NOT use it. It cost us a fish when the knot pulled loose. I repeat DO NOT use that knot. You can use a palomar with this stuff, just take your time cinching everything up slowly and evenly. |

Location: Stevens Point WI | besides the tyger leaders, are there any other leaders that are top line? excuse the ignorance, as i am new to this musky fishing, but are there any signifigant diffs between mono and steel leaders? i've always used steel when trolling for northerns and didn't even think of it when going for muskies last year... |

| Norm, do you use Tyger leaders for other applications or just suckers? If not, is there a reason?

Location: Racine, Wi | Beermonk, Tyger leader is not a premade leader, rather a leader material that is able to be tied. It is a stranded coated material that you buy, then would tie on your own snap and swivel, or whatever you are going to tie to the ends. |

Location: Minneapolis,Minnesota | I use Tyger leader for jigs. Works great, and gives them free action and no hardware hanging off of them. I use the worlds fair knot to tie them to jigs....just a more subtle knot then a Polymer, don't kknow if it makes any difference? |

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I think I am using 100#. I am not entirely sure, I just know it was the heaviest stuff Pastika's had available. I only use it for suckers, for the rest of my leaders I always use straight wire. I think it would be alright for regular leaders, but I like the security the 180# wire gives me. |
