Location: Des Moines IA | I haven't actually used one but all I have heard is BAD. I would suggest a C5 from Cabela's . They seem to have the only ones left. I like my C5 much bettter than my C3. |

| I would stay away from the D5. My partner last year, on a LOTW trip, started the week with two brand new D5's and ended the week with 2 junk D5's. |

| I'm not wild about the C5's either. If you palm your reel, your always sliding that magnet slide around on the retrieve, at least I did. Love the pretty green color, but couldn't stand that magnet slide. It's gone. |

Location: Antigo, WI | I started the year with a new D5 and had alot of problems with the reel binding up, even with small pike that would nail a bucktail or spinnerbait. Seemed to be a problem with the handle and the gears. I sent that reel into Abu-Garcia and they replaced it no questions asked. The replacement reel has been flawless to date. |
