Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Well, the Tuffy was sideways as much as not all the way here, but I made it in one messy piece. The MuskieFIRST booth is up, and we are READY!! Look for reports regularly on this thread. Attachments ---------------- DSCF0008.JPG (93KB - 77 downloads) DSCF0009.JPG (108KB - 81 downloads) DSCF0013.JPG (103KB - 84 downloads)

Posts: 194 Location: Southwest PA | Steve, You could have aleast got Pittsburgh spelled correctly. You shouldn't feel bad though. Here is a small tidbit of information. Pittsburgh is the most misspelled city in America, according to a recent study by ePodunk. The spelling of the city in western Pennsylvania has long been a point of contention. The U.S. Board on Geographic Names ruled in 1890 that the final "h" should be dropped from the names of all cities and towns ending in "burgh," but the citizens of Pittsburgh mounted a campaign to keep the traditional spelling. The board relented in 1911 and restored the "h." All these years later, people remain confused. I'll see you at the Pittsburgh show on Sunday. Rich W Edited by Rich W 1/7/2005 9:45 AM

Posts: 5874 | Steve just remembers they way he spelled it back before it was changed in 1911! hehehe Hard to teach an old dog new tricks, even back then! Hi Stever! LOL Did adding the "h" then change the pronounciation to PittsBURF? Have a great show! Edited by Shep 1/7/2005 10:54 AM

Did you bring the boat you had in the showroom the day I was at Fibredome? MAn that is a sweet boat. Wish I was rich and had a bigger garage. Does Steve Cady have a booth there, and what is he selling the Weagles for?

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The Show is going quite well, lots of folks in tonight. Tony Grant just finished his seminar, and the drawings are going on for door prizes. Several regular MuskieFIRST folks have stopped by, nice to see our Eastern counterparts at the show! Attachments ---------------- DSCF0017.JPG (80KB - 76 downloads)

Posts: 938 Location: NeverNever Lake | Wow, It was great to get to the show! Muskie peeps are the greatest! I picked up a wealth of information in just a few hours time. It was a very up close and personal show, everyone was fresh and willing to share. What it lacked in quantity, was sure made up for in the quality......... Was good to see you again Steve!

Posts: 358 | I agree with Steve's comments on the Pitt show. Sure seems like more folks through the doors on opening day than last year. Man, it sure feels great to talk musky fishing again with fellow musky hunters! I had a great time yesterday. I got to talk face to face with some of my customers, and it is truly a kick to see the pics of the fish that they caught last year.
