| What is the largest muskie caught by a woman.
My daughter caught a 55 1/4 " muskie/

| The WR Hybrid Musky was caught by a woman. Cant remember her name off hand and the exact weight....but soem where in the ball park of 56 1/2 lbs. |

| Delores Ott- Lapp caught a 50 1/3 lb. Tiger in Lac Vieux Desert in 1951 according to the FHS Wisconsins Top Muskie Lakes on pg. 62. |

| One of our fishing buddies who has fished with us owns the largest fish our group of 10 fishermen(women) -- a 53x25 est wt low to mid 40's -- can't be many ladies who have ever caught a legit 40 pounder -- I'd guess a dozen or two -- but what a great thing. She puts as many fish in the boat as the guys , year in year out, she nailed a 47 incher that same week. ManitouDan |

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland | According to one of the stories of the "old timers" a sixty pound fish was caught by Art Lawton's wife (can't remember her name) while she was out trolling by herself. Reportedly, it was so large she had to pull it in over the back of the boat to get it in. Of course, who knows if this is true or not? (thanks to the "exaggerations in the family). |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | Dick Sleight guided Ruth..(I forget her last name, her husband is a doctor from North or south dakota) to a 54lbs fish that was recognized for quite a few years as the biggest caught by a female..Not sure if its been topped.. |
