Delightful story....thanks for sharing it with us. I have had the same experience with pelicans which also can be quite a handful. Hope your New Year is fish filled and eagle free.

We have several Eagles on the property here every year for the Fall deer hunting season. They've learned that an easy meal will be at the top of the hill behind the house where we field dress the deer harvested off my land. They are not a BIT afraid of me, and will stand there and let me drive past a couple feet away rather than yield the area to the ever present Ravens.
