Just asking for a quick prayer for my daughters best friend (17 years old). She was involved in very serious car crash last week and it doesn't look like she is going to make it. As a matter of fact, the family was supposed to make a decision on what their wishes were for life saving measures and organs etc. Amanda hasn't found out what the decision was as of yet.

I'll not talk about what happened but please slow down, stay off the phone, pay attention to your driving, pay attention to your surroundings and wear your seatbelts. Don't get so involved on what your doing or where your going that you take chances that you shouldn't. Please don't make your family have to go through similar circumstances at such a happy time of year.

Have a safe and happy holiday season this year.

We'll keep her in our prayers.
Thanks for the words of wisdom. This muti-tasking behind the wheel life style that so many people live is out of control. Their car has become an office on wheels.
I'll make sure that my wife sees this one.
Palm pilot in one hand, phone in the other, writing on paper and shifting gears all at once.
In all aspects of life.........slow down and enjoy the ride. Get there, that's the important part.

As a firefighter I can tell you that the worst scene we ever roll up to is an auto accident where someone wasn't wearing a seat belt. PLEASE WEAR THEM. There are images burned in my mind forever that would never be there if people had been wearing seat belts.

My heart and prayers go out to every family that has to suffer through such a trajedy.

God bless you all, and have a safe and happy holiday.

Steve

Hey guys, thanks for all the thoughts etc.

Just wanted to let you know that the lord thought best to bring her home today. She passed away this afternoon. However, my daughter was upset at first but was releived to hear that they were able to harvest organs for transplant. Her friend is now helping 5 other people continue a healthy life.

Thanks again for your thoughts for my daughter and her friends family...
