Has anyone ever used one of these props? I was thinking about getting one but would like to get some feedback either positive or negative. Thanks,Paul

If I was to get one, it would strictly be for a spare. I have heard stories of them breaking as soon as they hit something, I even heard one story of the blades coming off under acceleration. Scary if you ask me.

I just received my latest issue of Bass and Walleye Boat magazine. I don't have it with me right now but they did have an interesting article on comp props and a comparison shootout of several different brands versus a stainless prop. Gander Mountain (I think) sells the magazine.

It appears that while great strides have taken place in the comp prop area, they still don't offer the performance and handling of a stainless prop.

While I probably won't be running one (other than as a spare perhaps), your opinion might be different than mine.

Check it out.
