| Just sitting here watching the snow & cruising the Muskie Internet, i.e. MuskieFirst, ---> wife "Al there's a little girl in back of the house." I throw on my coat and slide into the Sorrel's & run around back. Here's 3 year old neighbor's daughter. They live about 300 Yds away through the corner of a hardwood woods (~450 acres). They just moved here 3 months ago. She followed their black lab out of the yard("doogie had to go poop"). I was amazed the dog let me pick her up. God knows what would have happened if we had'nt been home.[:((] . My wife & I took her home, the parents were'nt even aware she was gone!!![:(] My wife's pissed at the neigbor & his wife, so am I. But I am grateful that we were able to avert a potential tragedy. Winter in Wisconsin is beautiful, but it's also a potential killer. If you have little one's keep a close watch on them (we have 4 grandchildren ages 1->6). They don't think like adult's. His first word's to his daughter, "Kayla you know better than that!" My thoughts " You stupid SOB, you know better than that!![:(] " I'm waiting to calm down before going back over to give him a piece of my mind.
This will probably be one of my best memories of this tragic year. I know she's safe & warm. Merry Christmas Kayla[:)]

| Al, reminds me of the guy who has a 5 gallon bucket on his head + can't understand why he doesn't know where he is....good idea to cool off! Glad you were there to help out...I keep a close eye on little sponge. Heard 1 time the good Lord watches over babies + stupid people...hence the reason I'm still here![;)]
On a lighter note...DUDES---> just found a new show on Nickelodeon..."Action League"!!!! Hilarious!!!!Check your local listings....has a bunch of plastic action figures that go through diff. things....a must show for those prone to stupid TV![:sun:]

| Sounds like a similiar story that happened to my relatives that live in wisconsin. It wasn't during winter but, Their 4 year old son wondered down the street to dairy queen and They had know idea where he was. The Cop saw him on the sidewalk and So he picked him up in car and brought him home. Thank God it could of gotten tons worse[:knockout:] |

| Oh wise "rectangular yellow one", you're absolutely right! It was a potential pre-Christmas tragedy averted. See how Follow up-> about an hour after I posted, the neighbor came over w/ thank you gift of homemade cookies. Wife answered the door. There is now no need for me give him a piece of my mind. He got the "Nana" lecture about watching little ones + it's never their fault, it's the parents fault.............he left with some somber advice from a "Nana" of four ( Hunter "Lil Bear" 1, Brittney "Britt" 2, Xavier "X-Man" 3 and Jazzmyn "Jazzy" 6 ) Needless to say he got the riot act from Mrs. Warner. I know how that one feels, been there, done that[:0]
