I was thinking of fishing the north shore of Green Bay, near Peshtigo Point, this weekend. Does anyone have any info on boat launches, places to stay or eat, etc., and structure to be careful of?

Any help at all would be much appreciated!

Sean

Which river?  Haven't gotten any in the Peshtigo(the area Sean is refferring to), as they are really not in there much yet.  The fox is a bit slow right now too compared to last year, but there are a few in, and a few nice ones have been caught mostly by walleye guys but a few by musky anglers too.  Dredging lake Butte de Morse has made a cloudy river even dirtier yet.  hopefully it clears up a bit.

A guy I worked with was walleye fishing down on the fox and when he was loading his
boat 2 guys came into the landing and told him they were muskie fishing. They said
they were trolling the breaks and caught 2 muskies. A 41 and 43".

Given this is my first time on the Bay, I think I will try Little Sturgeon....looks like there is some outstanding structure in and just outside the bay, and places to hide if it gets nasty.

Same guy went walleye fishing yesterday and another guy at the landing said he was out muskie fishing and got a 47". He told him trolling between 172 and Georgia Pacific right near the breaks in the channels

Fished Riley's Point , Little Sturgeon Bay and Henderson Point....nice structure, tons of bait fish (a few schools of bait went from bottom to top in 35 ft of water), ...nothing in the boat.
We launched at Ron Hedsand's Sunst Bar and Grill...we also had dinner there Sat night (I highly recommend Ron's place....great bar, great food, great view). We met Ron , who is an advid musky hunter, and he suggested that we fish the Fox River on Sunday. He was making the trip himself Sun morning, so we followed him there. We launched at De Pere, and fished not far from there near a plant that was putting out some warm water....nice rolling bootom, some nice edges, etc...and marked allot of fish....but nothing in the boat! We slow trolled bright colored baits about 20 ft behind the boat. A 44"er ws boated by another boat.

Great trip, great folks, some real nice water!
