Fall really is the prime time. Out today and had my first 2 fish day! Water temp 44. Caught my first 50"er with a 22" girth and got a 41"er as a bonus. Saweeet!
photos will follow though I don't know how good they will be as I use a point and shoot and was fishing alone. Good god, I could hardly lift the beast out of the water.

Big girl was caught again in 17' of water on the outside weed edge of a steep break. 41 was caught in 22' of water out off a point, fishing near bottom.

Can't wait till next weeekend.

I am going to try to post the pics. Not sure how this will go. I have to say i was by myself when i took the photo's so most did not turn out. Also I am in retrospect a bit embaressed by the photo of the fish in the boat. Not only does it not do this fish justice but I think it was needlessly hard on the fish, In my defense all I can say is that at the time I was not really myself.
