| Todd: Been there, done that, and even wrote the "book" for you... check my article in Esox Angler some months back on the makings of a first aid kit for anglers. You'll find a couple of tables listing all the essentials, with a specific addendum of orthopedic items. All I'd add to that is making sure a portable debrillator is part of your outpost camp's equipment if you travel with anyone high risk. Personally, I carry my own in my car... no sense in croaking over some stupid dysrhythmia. Also, it always makes sense to fish with someone who knows CPR. Mark |

| Band aids, superglue and some suture needles and thread(light fireline works great).Sewing yourself is a little tough, but if you've had tattoo work, it's nothing.And all the other stuff mentioned.Mine is the neandrethal version.Oh yeah, and some wickey for aniseptic.Seriously though, I carry a full kit, if I can keep my kids from getting ahold of it!
