Location: Downers Grove, IL | musky mikes is in downtown Oconomowoc, and is only about 2 minutes away from the lake. They'll answer any questions about whats been hot and where to start. My advice is to keep your eyes on your electronics and look for ciscos. |

Location: milwaukee | I was out there solo on Friday, fighting the wind and whitecaps. In one area, I marked a big blob between 16-24 ft over about 35-40 ft on a sharp break. Could this be a school of ciscoes? Had a hard time hovering over it 'cause of the wind.
There is tons of great structure on the lake from this rookie's point of view. Get a good lake map and study your electronics, and pick a day that boat control won't be a such challenge. Or consider trolling if wind and waves are high.

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Lower O is a good way to start the day, if nothing is in shallow start looking along the edges of deep water in the main lake basin.
