Posts: 32959 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Mr. Cady and Mr. Jonesi opend up the rules meeting at 8, defining the rules and asking that the first cast from every boat be Kly's tomorrow. The effort so far has raised almost $5000 for stocking Kly's favorite Muskie lakes here in Southern Wisconsin. LOTS more tomorrow!! I'll do a photo album and link it before I give it up for the day. | Great pics! Today has GOT to be an interesting day to fish! And i would have been there, fighting the hurricane, if my boat was ready. Oh well, drifting suckers in 12 foot waves could be fun!

Posts: 32959 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The day dawned windy beyond reason, rainy at times, and cold. Sideways spray whipped from the tops of the waves, soaked the contestants and made the day tough in wind gusts up to 40 MPH. Kyle's Dad had a nice fish for an instant, but it came unpinned. Steve Jonesi's rig moved a couple as did several others, but no legal fish hit the net today. One fish was caught, a 32". Steve, Steve and Slamr decided to draw for the donated prizes. I think everyone left with something nice, even Papa Joe, who scored the new Frabill Net and Big Goomba who scored a Fig Rig rod donated by Mikes Musky Shop. The event raised over $1500 more for the Kyle Stefanski memorial. Congratulations to everyone who drew a prize, and thanks to everyone for a great effort on Kly's behalf. Posts: 20281 Location: oswego, il | I could not make it out either. I had a plan to go there which fell through and one to indiana which fell through also. I am glad it was a success even though the fishing was not as good as expected. It sure was windy.

I'm really looking forward to next year. To everybody that gave us advice, "honey holes" and info, thanks for the help, hopefully someday I can return the favor.
