Posts: 4264 | Hey guys, I've received several e-mails from people wanting to get "Clownfish" for their kids for Christmas. I've got some blanks ready, and if there is enough interest, I'll put together a warm area in the garage so I can paint some before the Holidays. Let me know if you're interested, and maybe I'll do a batch for Santa Claus. Posts: 1335 Location: Chicago, Beverly | Hey Beav, put me down for one if you do them.. As for the Cisco one I got from you, it hit the water last weekend, sadly no action on it yet, the fish seemed to prefer a crankbait from me, but the action, especially when worked exactly how you told me to work it, was great.. Thanks

Posts: 4264 | You guys do me a favor........send me an e-mail with your name and how many you want. They are $25 delivered. Glad to hear that they are working for the guys that bought the "fish flavored" varieties. E-mail me so I can get your address and the names that you want on them. Thanks for your continued interest. Never thought that I'd grow up to be one of Santas elves. Beav [email protected]

| Beaver those sure are pretty but aren't they supposed to have purple on the dorsal side? Wish they had them down here. What do they do exactly, besides looking pretty in the box, or in my case, on the deck? | |||

Posts: 4264 | No, the purple on the dorsal would be "Dory", but I refuse to make anything that has anything to do with Ellen Degeneres. As far as what they do, they are a very slow sinking glider, almost neutrally bouyant. Subtle twitches to get the slack line out will get it moving side to side, then a pause here and there will let it shimmy downward. These are just a Christmas pattern idea, but I've made many others in a variety of patterns. PM Sworrall or Mark Hinz for an unbiased opinion. Here's one fish that liked the Sucker flavored one. Posts: 4264 | Last chance for the Holiday season. I'm going to paint some this week, so those of you who ordered them, you'll be getting them before Christmas. Anybody else, speak now or forever hold your piece. Thanks, Beav

Location: Athens, Ohio | Beav - just wanted you to know, I let Mauser toss my new Clownie at Cave Run last weekend, and #*^@ near didn't get it back from him! The bait has awesome action and despite it's heft, has a real good neutral buoyancy. I worked it a bit myself, nice LONG casts in the wind are possible with it. Too bad I can't post a fish shot with it, they weren't cooperating much last weekend. Thanks again for selling me one of the finest baits in my small collection. m

Posts: 4264 | I've got almost 200 blanks in the basement, all in various states of preperation. I can do all the prep work over the cold winter months and get them ready for spring. Should be some new colors, but there will be a limited number of each. I'm going to sell them through tacklefirst, because those guys are better at selling than I am. I do the making, they can do the rest. Thanks for the compliments. Several guys have written me about the action and ease of use. Makes me feel good that I made a lure that does what I want it to. If you want a deep, fast-moving glider......this aint it! Watch for them next year. Maybe I'll post some promo pics of new colors and who knows, I might get some ready for some of the later spring shows. Gotta run that past the other walking bull. Beav
