OK, Taking off work thurs and Fri and heading north to the cabin in Onieda County and pound the water with my buddies Brad and Dave. The weather looks crappy as all get out! Snow, rain, COOOOOLLLLLDDDD! Talking 20's with highs to only mid to upper 30's. Now my prediction is its going to be hard on the body fishing but could pay BIG dividends....Can you say Steep Breaks???

I really think this big dip will get the fish really moving...

So the question ....am I an optimist or do other folks think the same thing???

I am expecting some very good action this weekend, including big fish! This is just what we need up there to complete the turnover and clear up the lakes. Some lakes may still be a little cloudy, but I don't think it is going to affect the fishing one bit. Look for the "clear" lakes to be hot, and I can bet there will be a lot of chewed up rubber after this weekend!
