Posts: 1936 Location: Eau Claire, WI | Well I know how the Kly outting went. I never put the boat in the water in the hurrican but it was fun just drinking coffee and b.s.ing with the crew. Went out today for about 3 hours with my wife and dog and stuck a fat 40 on a Slow-Tease. Came home in time to see the finish of the Nascar race and the Packer game. A good Sunday and a nice way spend me birthday. How'd you do..?

Posts: 20281 Location: oswego, il | I did not fish. All my plans fell through. Raked leaves today and set the pile on fire which was enough leaves to completely cover an 1850 crestliner which really p-ed the nieghbor behind us.

Posts: 476 Location: WI | Fished Saturday in the wind We caught (2) 40"ers just before we had to get off the water. One caught casting, the other 15 minutes later on a quick set. Saw three other fish, one sniffing the sucker about 43" or so...... Raked leaves all day Sunday

I've blocked out at least 2 Saturdays this month so here's hopin' that the Magna can get wet a couple more times before the lockers get emptied for the winter. Beautiful fish Lambeau!

| Headed to north WI with the plan being "earn a buck" then hit the water. Saw a doe right away Saturday morning and missed. I knew it was too easy! Didn't get a chance again until Sunday afternoon...there goes the plan so no slime for me although its great to have some meat in the freezer. Jono | |||

| Fished Saturday on a small central MN lake. Picked it to get out of the wind. It worked out pretty good too. Had a guest get a 40" on a sucker. I picked up a 40.5" and a 43" on a shallow invader. The window was from 10:00 til 3:00. Caught the fish and raised many others during this time. After 3:00 we didn't see another fish. Fished til dark. Anyone else notice this window? | Brett, yesterday and today, the fish were about the same. We raised one on a sucker while clearing the weeds off of one today right around noon. Then we stuck a 39.5 (I think, the same one we raised earlier) on a sucker. It was pretty cool, as it chased the sucker to the surface, and I actually saw it take the sucker on the surface. After 3, we saw nothing. Although, the suckers did get nervous. Pretty windy and rainy, so it made it tough to fish the area we were seeing fish. I did miss one other at about noon, or noon thirty. Yesterday, The Dude's broham stuck a 36 on a sucker, and between the 2 boats we had out there we missed 5 fish on suckers. None of us raised a single fish. All were on the deep weedline, and all on meat. All in the afternoon. hmmmmmm?? Not that I'm complaining, but how do you raise a fish, when all they'll do is eat meat?? | |||

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | That was me above, apparently, I wasn't logged in. I also missed a big girl, when my netman went to get food and more meat yesterday. I almost had her to the boat, just got the net ready to get her, and....headshake, gone. Mini Tuffy got 2 smaller fish on a weagle today. November topwater, gotta love it. Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | My wife and I headed straight north to my favorite fall lake for the weekend and had a pretty good time. We started Friday morning, and after leaving the landing, driving the boat for 15 minutes, and ending up almost at the landing, we headed to the store to buy a compass to get through the fog(I need to replace my GPS soon!). I have never seen fog as dense as it was on Friday, but it was kind of fun, once we found our spot. I started out the action with a nicely barred 43"er at 4 PM in an area where a fish blew up my Rylur surface lure that morning. At 7:00 PM and total darkness, my wife had a hit at boat side on the Rylur tapdancer(the one she stole from me), and all heck broke loose as she waged battle at boatside with her biggest of the season in a very beefy 45.5"er(surface temp was 47.5 that day). Saturday was too windy to fish where we wanted to so we decided to hit a couple river to no avail. Sunday we blanked on our home waters of Petenwell flowage. Today, saw a 6 pointer and a nine pointer, then got rain soaked. Hopefully tommorrow is a better day for fishing, as I am taking my brother on a river float for the day.
