Muskie Fishing -> General Discussion -> natural reproduction in PA?

I've been told there is almost no natural reproduction of muskies in PA. Last week, I caught a monster of a muskie (16 inches) in a stream that has not been stocked for over 6 years. I find it hard to believe this fish was 6 yrs old. So my question is this, are they reproducing, or is this fish just a "runt"?

The fish was ever stocked or was hatched there. 16" is a year old or so...

Lots of little Sponge fans there, Sponge, no worries. Folks are naturally reproducing all over the place right now, just ask Jason!!

But Sponge some are just better at reproduction.. Ask Jamie Schmidt.. and his blond incubater..He has triplets coming..

I still believe in some waters reproduction does happen...but in very very low numbers..
