I just wanted to put some info out on the types of bags that are used on our nets.
I got a new Beckman at Christmas this year, and it had a regular mesh bag on it. After dumping a good amt of fish in there this year, I have come to realize that mesh is not good for the fish, and it gets ripped up pretty easily. The fish tend to roll in the bag, and it can be messy to get them out at times. The Extreme One and I pretty much demolished it a couple of weeks ago, having to repair it on the water, and then net fish to the right side of the bag to ensure they didn't go through.

I just picked up the Beckman Finsaver, and the thing ROCKS. It is easy on the fish, and a lot more durable. So when considering picking up a new net, or a bag, definitely go with the treated bags. They will last longer, and are alot better on the fish.

Just my 1.5 cents.

I have a Treated Pike net by Beckman and a Husky Musky Finsaver that I have used for netting Musky. After having netted several fish in the Husky, plus several in a friends Fin saver I think the Pike net is relegated to backup duty only from now on.
