I saw this mentioned on the other post about the big tournament next week.

Did any of you guys get a rules update/welcome letter or anything in the mail? The last thing I received just showed that we were all paid up in full.

I GUARANTEE there are plenty of teams that have not taken the time to look at the website and see the new rules.

Simply Fishing really dropped the ball by not sending out some mailer regarding the pre-fishing rules, etc.

I don't even know what time or where the Tuesday night meeting is !!!

OK. I just printed out the rules off of website.

I knew the two "host" sites were Vermilion Dam Lodge and Bay View Lodge.

Registration on Tuesday from 3-6 pm. Pre-tournament meeting and ease out drawing at 6:30.

Where? Is there a separate meeting at each host site? I doubt that, it wouldn't make sense.

How about getting the boat inspected? Is that at the meeting?

If anyone has answers, most importantly about the headquarters, please post.

Thanks - Hammerin' Joe Midget

What about the last day, are the final 10 fishing out identical Rangers that were supplied? I think that could make things really interesting.

Good luck

I heard the identical ranger thing didn't happen.....

You would think there would be an updated rule/info page on the simply fishing site.

Kind of makes me wonder about the quality of how this whole thing is going to be run?

How is anybody supposed to know about this Bellview place?

Where is it?

I sent Lisa an email two days ago and never heard back.

I think this is what you are looking for Midge http://www.bayviewlodge.com/

I have not seen a ad or any call for judge boats in the last few months. Does he have enough judge boats?

I'm staying at bayview which is located on the South end of East lake and I'm sure they will explain everything at the Tuesday meeting at 3pm. http://www.simplyfishing.com/tournamentinfo.shtml
No worries

Just got an email back from Lisa @ Simply.

Sign-in (3-6pm) and rules (6:30) meeting at Bay View Lodge.

So if you are taking off from the west side, do not go to Vermilion Dam Lodge to sign in.

That will be easy!! I am headed over tomorrow to do a seminar in Minneapolis, see some boat dealers, and get my fanny up to cover the event for MuskieFIRST. Watch for a full Leaderboard, daily pictures and updates, and video posted after the event unless I can get high speed internet up there somewhere.

Too bad we don't have a list of who is fishing! This one would have been fun to try to pick the top 10.
