Hello All,

I'm writing to ask if anyone has had the opportunity to fish for muskies on Madeline Lake in the Minocqua area. I know a guy who has a place on Madeline and is thinking of trying his luck at muskies. I'd like to help him as I don't believe he has ever caught a muskie before. Just trying to help him out by spreading the disease. If anyone can provide any information about the muskies in Madeline (Lures to use, colors, location) that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've fished it but been a few years.

We put a 47.5 in the boat on a sucker in October by the island. It was one of those very windy days so we were fishing small lakes.

Bucktails and twitchers work.

Don't forget Carol....I know someone who had a 50 up there in the Spring.
