| I recently purchased a new top raider and noticed quickly that it made a much different sound than my others. The noise is a metalic singing that is more noticable at higher speeds. Does any know if this noise is common and does it affect the number of strikes? I must admit that my confidence went down after a few casts. Further, what is causing this sound and can it be fixed? Any input is appreciated |

In fact, I've heard from several guys that the rustier and squeekier(sp?) that a topwater becomes the better it'll perform. If you're still not convinced I'll be more than happy to trade for or buy that bait from ya.
But if the bait has a nice deep pop to it with a whine than I suggest you keep chucking it.
catch ya later,

| Thanks for the responses, and I am glad to hear that they are positive. I think I will keep this bait a while longer and give it pleanty of chances to prove it self. |
