| Well howdy Mr. Bluegill! Assuming weather conditions are favorable, I would start with a bucktail, recent favorite is the Hirsch's Original in white perch with a white blade. Hirsch's is a very slow retrieve, but they might want fast, so a Buchertail 700 in natural perch w/ copper blade, or black and silver. If that doesn't work, I would try twitching crankbaits like 7.5" Grandmas in natural colors. If that doesn't work, I would switch to a glider, either an Undertaker or a MuskyBum original. If that doesn't work, then I have to decide between jigs or gernades or just head to the bar and hope to get luckier. Have a ball, Troy!
Someone ought to know details about the water he's heading toward. Mr. Bluegill is a good bud of the board and let's help him all we can, eh? |
