Got back Saturday from Little Vermillion in Sioux Lookout, stayed at Fireside Lodge for a week. Weather was cool and overcast for most of the week which worked in our favor. My brother and I were able to boat 10 muskies, 39 inches being the largest and 24 being the smallest. I have attached some pics, all of the skis were release and swam strong to fight another day. Love using my big Frabill to keep the fish in the water and minimize the muskie's time out of the water

If you're looking for great action water, with VERY LITTLE pressure.....Fireside Lodge on Little Vermillion in Sioux Lookout is the place to go. I was up there 3 years ago for a 4 day stay, and we boated 16 fish between two of us in 4 days. The biggest we boated was a fat 38", but we moved bigger and lost bigger.
Alan and Audrey run a great, relaxed camp, and the food is EXCELLENT. I'll always remember sitting at breakfast the first day and asking "which on the menu can I have", which I was told I could have whatever I wanted....."i'll take the pancakes, waffles, french toast, bacon and sausage", I was kidding. The waitress just looked at me and said "OK". It was hard to move that day.
This may sound like an over-endorsement, but being that we don't have them as a sponsor, nor do I get discounted rates....I still think that if you're looking at a muskie-action filled getaway, or want to take the kids for a week of great scenery, comfort, and even incredible smallie fishing, check out http://www.firesidelodge.com
