Never used it or handled it. Based on the specs, I'd say it'd be good for large bucktails and spinnerbaits. I find a 1-3 oz. rated rod to be too much for smaller bucktails, so you probably want something else for those or as a "general bucktail" rod.

And for 335 USD, I'd definitely consider some more inexpensive alternatives.....

Had great luck this past season with Falcon Cara 7'6". Really works for bulging.
