Which do you think is most important. My dad and i disagree, I will take a nice thumping crankbait and my dad thinks rattles are better attractors. What do you guys think?

Hey Todd,

I'm with you I'll take both if I can have them but vibration over rattles for sure!

I think that all lures rattle already just beacause of the hooks hitting the lure body.

I only throw lures with rattles in the spring, Rat-L-Traps and Rattlin' Shads. All of my twitch baits, gliders, etc.. are all solid body lures. I don't like rattles, just doesn't seem like a natural sound to me, but that is just my opinion!!! I think with twitch baits it is the action and the vibration.
