Does anybody know the approximate weight of a (1987) Tuffy Esox Ltd. with a 40 hp tiller and trailer?

Also, does anybody know what size coupler to buy? My coupler on my trailer is getting worse with every trip. I know I need a 2" ball. I don't know what size my channel tongue is. I also don't have access to my boat right now.

According to Nada the weight would be 750 lbs for the boat alone. A 40 HP Johnson would be around 200 lbs. I would guess the trailer weight would be around 300 - 400 lbs. depending on the frame. So if you round up on everything, 800 + 200 + 400 = 1400 lbs.

That is a rough estimate, not being able to look at your boat. You can get the weights on the boat & motor from www.nadaguides.com .
