Subject: Wabigoon lake

I'm heading up to Wabigoon Lake with my family. Any info on lures, location, techniques would be very much appreciated. Is there a hot lure or technique for this lake?

Alan,
Look at the Indian Point Camp Outing thread on the general message board, lots of information there. Fish the shallow weeds, and cover them CAREFULLY. Spinnerbaits for the slop, Suicks for the scattered stuff, bucktails where you can use them, and topwater ANYTIME.

Crank the reefs with larger bass sized baits for big Pike, and fish Devils Island on the NE side with jigs for walleyes. Stay at Indian Point Camp, too!

Here is a link to that thread.
