I co-worker is going to Deer Lake north of Grand Rapids, MN next week for a week of muskie fishing.
Does anyone have any tips for fishing that body of water. I've never been on it...

Thanks in advance...

Pick up a good map. Its been a little slow the past week or so. Not many people are even seeing fish. Watch the rocks.

GIN clear water - Hope for wind & clouds.

DEEP lake, great deep cabbage. Concentrate on edges, weed-rock transitions.

ps- Hop over to It's sister lake MOOSE, smaller and not as clear, if things are'nt going well on Deer.
