| Any tips on how to remove the waterline from my boat? I've got a white aluminum hull that's looking kinda grungey.
Thanks,
Jono |

| I wipe my boat down with a wet chamos rag after I come off the water each day. Works great, also Simple Green is a great cleaner. I hope that helps.

| Thanks, guys. Any body else got some ideas? I like seeing the different ways people attack the same situation.
How about Dow "Scrubbing Bubbles"? Anybody try that?

| I will take my boat to the car wash and pressure wash it every so often. Use the foam brush and scrub it up real good. Then pressure wash the heck out of it. After you get the scum line off, a good coat of wax and wipe it down after your done fishing is your best bet to keep it clean. |

| Jeff, thanks for the heads up.
Bill, I've tried the pressure wash approach. Maybe I didn't give 'er enough.
As a side note, I think the pressure wash works great on the interior. Use it on the carpets, looks great.

| Slimy Grimy, great cleaner for marine use. Marine Dealers, or West Marine should be able to get it for you. It removes water marks really well, and cleans every surface in the boat. |

| A mixture of water and muriatic acid, start at 20:1, works great on fiberglass. Start weak and get stronger. Remember, add the acid to the water NOT the water to the acid. I don't know how this works on aluminum. This stuff is unbelievable.

| This past week I had my boat in the water for four days on the Wolf River system, I actually was fishing for other species, something must be wrong with me. Anyways I used Starbrite "Boat Wash in a Bottle" It works real good, that water is extremely dark and scummy and it all came off without hardly having to scrub.
