| I Have a three year old 50lb thrust 12 volt minn kota powerdrive bowmount motor that I would like to know if it is fixable or if it will be too costly to fix ? Heres what the trouble is . It started by not wanting to turn at full power and then the next time I used it ,it wouldn't turn left !only right and I could only get power with the momentary switch . Then it got worse I checked it at home in the driveway and the darn thing would only turn right and I cant get any power at all to run the prop ! The battery is fully charged and all the conections are good . I haven't been able to get ahold of the nearest repairman yet his recording still says he is on his winter hours !!! has anyone ever had any troubles like this with there motor ? THE FERD | |||

Everytime that I pulled up the motor to stow it away about one cup of water would run out of the head. "Anchors A' Weigh", in Waukesha WI, repaired it for under $100! Far less than the cost of a new motor! They are a factory Authorized Service Dealer for both Minnkota and Motorguide. Their website is: www.gotrolling.com . Their e-mail site is: [email protected] Good Luck. | ||
