| It's a longshot, but....
there are a few 5600ABs laying around and not being used because the AB system is a pain and unnecessary. I aquired two and modified them such that I really like them a lot. "Modified" means stripping out the AB parts and rebuild with parts I order from Hatterass Outfitters. I'll offer a season's worth of of nice flouro and straight wire leaders for one or two, if you are interested.
Flouro leaders are 80#Climax w/stringease snaps and 90# or 60# McMahon swivels. You tell me how long you want 'em.
Straight wire are 86# and/or 119# with same hardware as with the flouros. I'll make them to the lengths you want.
How about 6 florous plus 6 straight wires for a reel? |

| Rick,
What is your turn around time for fixing up a couple of my 6500 C3's?

| Hi Shep,
I just tore down, cleaned, relubed and rebuilt 5 of my reels (all 5000 series) in two long evenings. Took me about 2 hours per reel. How many are you talking about? Do you want Smooothies drag washers added while I'm at it? Those drag washers are a nice, inexpensive upgrade to one of the weakest systems in the Ambassadeurs. The time to add them is when the reel is being tore apart. If so, we'll need to order those from Hatterass Outfitters right quick.

| Rick,
I've decided to use these two reels on my Classic Cats for sucker fishing. I think the drags will be a good addition, especially this fall. E-mail me your address, and I'll get them out to you. Or, come to the RCL weigh in at Port Clinton in three weeks, and pick them up! No rush on getting them done. I'll try to get them on the UPS truck next week. |

I don't have any reels for you but I'd be interested in some Flouro Leaders. I take it you'll just sell me some?? Let me know.
