Location: Monroe WI | Looking at buying a lund pro v. I am looking at the 18 and 19 foot boats. I just would like some feedback on the boats , hard to listen to a guy that want's to make money on me. Also should they charge 5% more if they have to order the boat. The dealer is also pushing Yamaha outboards, I don't know much about them. Oh this boat will be used Musky, walleye and some Panfish. What do I look for? Thank you for your time and advice. Wood |

| Lots of Lund dealers out there, so I would check around. I can see about 5% more for an order out, as the dealers want to sell their inventory first. Probable reason he is pushing the Yammy, is that his stock is pre-rigged with Yammy controls. If you want a different brand motor, he will have to order out.
As far as whether to go with the 1800 or 1900, I guess that is ultimately up to how much you want to spend. If you can, and want to spend the money, go with the 1900 with a 225. The 1800 would be a nice boat, too. Either way, Lund makes a very good boat. And they look and run the best with Black motors on the back! |

Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | I have a 1900SE and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I fish approx. 200 days per year. About 90 of those days are on saltwater, the rest on Lake of the Woods. The boat is a solid fishing platform with lots of walk around room. My boat is a '98 model and has held up well in hard use. I have a 150 hp on it and if I re-engine the boat it will probably be with a 200 hp Yamaha HPDI. My son has one of the Yammies and it is super. Refuse the 5% upcharge for ordering and be willing to walk away if they don't come down. Leave your number for him if he changes his mind. It will probably work. Good Luck! |

| I know some dealers are taking orders for Verado powered boats. Don't know of any specific dealers, but I would suggest you check around. Check with Dave Norton at Norton's Drydock in Princeton, WI. |
