| Hello,
I will be purchasing a Daiwa Millionaire in the next week or so. I am leaning toward the Z253A becuase of the Magnaforce V anti-backlash system and it smaller size when compared to the Z300A. In reading the forums, everyone seems to recomment the 300A over the 253A. Will the 300A actually handle the larger baits better that the 253A (I am under the impression that both reels have the same internals with the exception of the anti-backlash system)?
I will be using the reel on a St. Croix AM69HF. This is my jerkbait rod and the reel will have to live up to my heavist baits. I do not need the extra line capacity that the 300A.
Any thoughts on the subject will be most appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Joe

| I got the 300A for saltwater apps and it's smooth as silk; casts 3-4 oz. bucktails/crippled herrings w/ ease... like to have the extra line capacity if needed... |

I had that dilema last year. I bought a calcutta 250 and a CVZ 253 and hands down the 253 is totally awesome
The 253 has plenty of line cap. and will handle any bait you want to throw.
