| Me and the hubby are considering fishing lake Wabigoon sometime in July, can anyone suggest some good "action waters" in the area? So far we've heard of:
-the Indian Chain
-Corner
-Canyon
-and has anyone ever fished the Dinorwic chain?
Thanks for the help!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | MuskieFIRST has an outing on Wabigoon Lake the second week of July out of Indian Point Camp. Join us!! See the oputings board for details. I can help with some numbers water in the area, too, and will be up there from the 3rd through the 17th. |

Location: New Baden IL | Canyon turns out some eye-popping numbers of fish every year. I think it is a lake that can be fished regardless of the wind. It is down in a canyon...imagine that, protected.
Something worth some more research.
I think Herbie takes some people there from Andy Meyers Lodge.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Canyon, Cliff, Cedar, Perrault chain, Thaddeus, and lots more. Pleny of water to explore, but why do that if staying on the Goon? Wabigoon is one of the best trophy fisheries in the world, and sports LOTS of big pike to keep you busy and interested. |
