I just had to post this folks, I have my first musky for the 04' season! She measured 43" with an estimated weight of 22 lbs.

After doing some video taping on a central IL lake this past Saturday my partner and I decided we had a little time left to try and actually do some serious musky fishing. On my sixth cast, she hit! What a rush! Now I cant wait for the next one to visit my landing net! Take care all.

I caught my first on on Feb. 29th this year. Thankfully it was leap year, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it done. It was a 39" on a Shallow Invader at Kinkaid. I took a digital picture of it, but it was so "washed out" that I cant use it. Any advice on how to darken up the picture?
It was a bright sunny afternoon, and the flash went off, so it didn't turn out so good.
Thanks,
Rodney LaCaze
