| While hiding under a table in the break room at work the other day, I watched me boss cleaning his teeth and came up w/ a revolutionary idea; why not develop a leader made from dental floss? The dude has a big mouthful of staggered sharp teeth of different sizes, yet the floss never once broke. As I watched his chubby little fingers work the string in and out of his gaping maw, I was amazed! The leaders could be made at a most affordable cost, and should be virtually twist free. No more bending or straightening; plus the fisher peep can easily store the material in a shirt pocket. Flavoring can be added to induce strikes, plus the added benefit of a cleaner mouth for the fish if he should end up shaking the hooks. Perhaps Ranger can come up w/ something... |

Location: Holly, MI | Yes Sponge, I think once again you are on to somthing. There is a new floss out called Glide that doesn't shred and leave tiny strings in between the tight ones either. Probably have to superglue the knots tho, it is pretty slippery stuff. I use the Cinnamon flavor, do you think the Muskies would like that?

Location: oswego, il | Heck with making a leader out of the stuff, I am going to spool my reels with it. I can floss my own teeth with my fishing line instead of the power pro, no wonder my teeth are all green now. After I catch a fish, I can give it a shot of listerine and off it goes. |
