About thirty anglers hit the water today under sunny skies and temps in the 50's. 8 fish were caught today, with four coming from one angler! (see photo of registered fish form). Justin Mullins' boat had two, a 32 and a 38. Papa Joe had a 34.5, and TECK has two fish now. Murph got one yesterday, too. David4 got one, too. Mauser looks great, considering his ordeal on the 4 wheeler a few weeks ago, and it was great to see Mikie again! Steve jonesi was sunburned. Punch and Judy were sunburned, too. I didn't get out on the water; by the time I got here I had just enough time to set up the room and get one visit in to Crash's Landing. I will stop by Tony Grant's tomorrow and get a couple pictures there, too. Kly was here. We had a great time tonight, but the big evening is tomorrow night, with our awards banquet sponsored by Morehead Tourism and Crash's Landing. I missed the get together at Tony Grant's last night, just plain ran out of time. This trip isn't the same without Mike Hulbert! He an d Slamr are probably hitting the town now, after a long, hard day's work at the Extreme Show in Chicago.

Much more tomorrow and Sunday!!

Some of us have to WORK to make the site bigger and better for the good of all MuskieFIRST.....or at least thats what I'm telling myself is why I'm HERE and Worrall is down there!
I hope the next pics have everyone wearing MuskieFIRST hats with big smiles on their faces....except maybe Jonesi, Tomyv, and Kly, who I want wearing the hats, but pissed off looking because they all missed state records!
Good luck to all, think of me and Hulbert, stuck at the show, working for the good of MuskieFIRST!

You poor guys that got stuck in Kentucky having to work. ROFLMA
Up in Wisconsin we got to shovel snow yesterday and you guys missed it while you were working.
That will teach you to leave Wisconsin at the prime time of shoveling wet heavy snow!!!!!!
Next year you will know better than to leave Wisconsin at this time of year.

The weather was warm but very windy today, with promise of bad thunderstorms. I spenty a couple hours out on the water with matt K from Ohio, great stick and knows the Cave well. We pulled off the water when the thunder started, but that one just missed us. The was a bizarre event at one of the landings today; someone drove a car at high speed directly down the Scott's Creek launch and launched it about 100 feet out into the water. When we left, they had not yet recovered the vehicle or driver.

Reports were sketchy today, but someone out there got a big fish. Not sure if it was one of our crew, we will see when everyone gets here for the banquet.

I will see if I can get a few fish pictures uploaded from the cameras here. someone will have some shots for sure. So far, about 15 fish or so have been caught.

Here are some pictures of Tony's place, and some on the Cave.

More later!!
