Posts: 8847 | Correct me if I'm wrong here, but tiger muskies don't just "appear" without a population of pure strain muskies and northern pike. The only other way is through repeated stocking and in fairly large numbers to obtain a fishable population. Any of the MI guys from out West would know about this. I know Pine View reservoir in Utah was churning out some big tigers some years back, but that was like 20 years ago...

Posts: 2076 | Has to be true it’s on the internet, Mississippi is definitely a state overlooked for tigers… but then again don’t overlook Iowa for black bear hunting

| I didn't think any fish, let alone musky, could survive in the Great Salt Lake. | |||

![]() Location: PA Angler | Surprised so many tigers out there I thought it was just a stocking thing for not over stocking on other fish.

Posts: 1427 | The text of this article is 100% AI generated, and I don't think AI knows that tigers don't reproduce. Random pictures, pulled from the internet. Nothing but clickbait.

| Really puzzling to me why someone would go the trouble of using AI to create a story that is only going to be of interest to a small group of people and is not done to bring in revenue, increase sales, etc. | |||

Posts: 1427 | Nobody went to the trouble to create the story. AI did it all by itself. A person tells AI to create articles that will generate clicks, based on trending topics. AI checks the internet to see what topics are trending, and does the rest. This isn't targeted to musky people. It's targeted to a much larger group; people who are interested in environmental change, and invasive species. It's only goal is to get someone to click on it. Doesn't matter what the content actually is, or if anyone actually reads it. Doesn't have to be accurate or even make any sense. Might as well be gibberish. It's goal was accomplished.
