I’ve seen that they have stocked Swan Lake in Iron County MI. Has anyone fished it?

No. But its less than 200 acres so what can you reasonably expect? If DNR stocking records show muskies, then others are already fishing that water. Consider running the drop off with a sucker rig in a rod holder while you cast both shallow and deep. Maybe swing a lazy follow on a pressured lake into a bite. Might give you the edge in challenging water, dontchaknow.

Or just hit Paint Pond.

Here's what I know about muskies in Swan lake in case anybody is still interested. When I asked the DNR fisheries guy why they planted muskies in a little lake that has never had musky, I was told that there is an overabundance of suckers in Swan, and they were hoping the muskies would thrive and help control the sucker population. I was also told that they (the DNR) do not think many if any muskies survived. My feelings on the subject, what a waste of expensive fingerlings. There are several other waters around that already have existing but low-density musky populations that would've been much better places for planting. I'm pretty sure that was the same reasoning for planting muskies in Teal Lake in Negaunee, too many suckers.
