Random quote: A couple of young fellers were fishing at their special pond off the beaten track when out of the bushes jumped the Game Warden. Immediately, one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods like a bat out of hell, and hot on his heels came the Game Warden.

Hey all. Neophyte to the bait making game. I've done some custom painting on some blades for my own use and am wondering what sort of protective coating/sealant you use for them? I am unclear on toxicity concerns as well as what actually works. Thank you all for your insight.

I dip mine in KBS Diamond Clear. Smells a bit but it's super durable.
