I can't say for certain, as I no longer go to the Kosiosko County lakes any more. But it's been warm and it's only going to get warmer here this week with temps in the 50s, near 60 and quite a bit of rain coming.

"IF" there was any ice, I'm sure it wasn't/isn't much, nor should it be trusted in any way shape nor form in the way of ice fishing.

If there is/was any thin/skim ice in the shallows...willing to bet it's open water by this weekend. More than likely it's boatable.

Will let someone that's local to that area and has laid eyes on the water to weigh in. I'm not a reliable source in this aspect. I just know there is zero ice on any bodies of water in my immediate area of Indiana. Now....2 hours north of here? May be a different story. But then again, bet it's thin/skim ice at best.
