*shudder* Nope. No crocs, no sandals, no flip flops, no bare feet, just no. I'm not one to leave lures laying around, but there's always at least one rod rigged up and out somewhere in the boat. In the chaos that ensues fighting and netting a fish I wouldn't take the chance. I have stepped on more than one lure, and I know I've dropped a few as well. The thought of exposed feet around anything to do with muskies? Nu-uh. Waterproof hiking boots for me. They're not exactly comfortable in hot weather, but it's better than a hook in the foot.

I got these custom work boots for my job with a lift and they are the most comfortable thing i refuse to wear anything else except the overshoes over them when working. Comfortable even on the water

Podiatrist recommended Crocs years ago. Almost always wear the Crocs Swift Water now. More of a water shoe with the cushion like Crocs footbed. Cool weather I break out the Merrell's.
